Bio: J’Briel is a licensed professional counselor primarily licensed in the state of Texas. J’Briel is a doctoral candidate for Walden University’s PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision program. J’Briel is also a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP).  J'Briel brings a wealth of experience and expertise in mental health and wellness. With a strong passion for helping individuals facing life-changing challenges, she specializes in utilizing Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to address and combat negative responses associated with traumatic experiences. J'Briel understands the struggles individuals face in maintaining their daily functioning and is committed to providing effective support.

Furthermore, J'Briel has a particular interest in addressing complex trauma, destigmatizing mental illness in minority communities, infertility, and women's issues, and recognizing the unique and sensitive nature of these concerns. She is dedicated to offering compassionate and effective services to individuals within this population. J'Briel's commitment to personal and professional growth is evident through her training in play therapy, where she is actively working toward becoming a certified play therapist. Additionally, she is an AutPlay-trained and certified therapist, demonstrating her proficiency in working with individuals who benefit from this therapeutic approach.
